1. Advance Reservations

UrbanRide Xpress graciously accepts reservations no fewer than forty-eight (48) hours in advance of the intended engagement.
Should circumstances require a request of urgency, honoured guests are kindly invited to communicate with our offices via WhatsApp, whereupon every reasonable endeavour shall be made to secure accommodation, subject always to availability.

2. Cancellation & Refund Courtesy

In observance of fairness and mutual respect, guests may cancel their reservation up to twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled commencement of service and receive a full and unconditional refund.
Cancellations tendered beyond this period shall regrettably render the reservation non-refundable.

3. Payment & Confirmation of Seat

A payment in advance is required at the time of booking in order to confirm and reserve one’s seat.
Upon completion of the booking, a secure payment link shall be furnished within the official confirmation correspondence issued by UrbanRide Xpress. No reservation shall be deemed confirmed until payment has been duly received.

4. Child & Toddler Seating Provisions

For the comfort and safety of our youngest travellers, the first child safety seat requested shall be provided gratuitously, subject to availability and advance notice.
Any additional child seats requested shall incur a charge of EUR 10 per seat.

Guests bear full responsibility for declaring the child’s age at the time of booking, thereby enabling UrbanRide Xpress to furnish the appropriate safety apparatus.

5. Scope of Transport Services

Where transport is included, such service shall consist exclusively of:

  • Morning collection from the guest’s stated accommodation

  • Conveyance to the Jetty at Pointe Jérôme

  • Afternoon return to the same location

Any deviation from this arrangement must be expressly agreed upon in advance.

6. Independent Arrival

Guests electing to make their own way to the embarkation point shall be furnished with the Google Maps location no later than one (1) day prior to departure, or may access it via the provided link.

7. Snorkelling Apparatus

Guests are kindly encouraged to bring their own snorkelling equipment for personal comfort and hygiene.
A limited supply of shared equipment may be available aboard, offered courteously and subject to availability.

8. Cleanliness & Vehicle Care

UrbanRide Xpress maintains its fleet to the highest standards of cleanliness and refinement.
In the regrettable event of vomiting, excessive soiling by sand, or the spillage of food or beverages, a cleaning fee of MUR 400 shall be levied to restore the vehicle to its proper condition.

Guests’ cooperation in preserving a pleasant environment for all passengers is deeply appreciated.

9. On-Board Conduct

In the interest of cleanliness, dignity, and mutual respect:
Eating, drinking, and smoking are strictly prohibited within the vehicle.
Exceptions may be granted solely for validated medical necessities, communicated in advance where possible.

10. Weather & Force Majeure

UrbanRide Xpress reserves full discretion to cancel or suspend services in the event of adverse weather conditions, including but not limited to cyclones, torrential rains, or official weather warnings issued by local authorities.

Where a cyclone of Class 3 or higher is declared, no service shall be rendered under any circumstances.
Guests shall be notified at the earliest opportunity, and a full refund shall be issued should rescheduling prove impossible.

Safety shall always supersede all other considerations.

11. Booking Conduct & Proper Channels

For the preservation of order, professionalism, and proper record-keeping, guests are strictly prohibited from arranging journeys directly with drivers.

All engagements must be conducted exclusively through the UrbanRide Xpress office.
Failure to adhere to this policy shall result in the immediate suspension of both the guest and the driver from our service register.
